Fused glass flowers on mosaic background / indoor only/ modern mosaic/ dichroic

This piece is a 10x10x1.5” mosaic with fused glass flowers and dichroic centers of the flowers. This piece took some time because I wanted to do something not everyone was doing. The flowers were actually going to be used in a different project but I just knew I wanted them for inside someone’s home instead of flowers just to live a life on a copper tubing to be a plant stake inside a pot which only gets seen in passing. With them being used in this project, they are seen in a whole new way! I thought about making stems for them on the wood, but I just wanted to do something that made someone go “wow” and see the labor of love which is the cube shaped background. Each piece was meticulously shaped into a diamond and then played down with 2 other colors that meshed well together to make the cube or box shape if u will.

This piece is to be used indoor only, only because the wood hasn’t been sealed. The mosaic pattern pieces itself is water resistant because I seal all of my grout even if used only inside. So if u want to seal the wood and take it outside to hang on a porch, do so by your choice. The bright colors used will really brighten up a room. It would make a wonderful gift for anyone, but maybe especially for those who are “minimalists” because this piece says a lot in a little amount of space. lol

This piece can be hung up by the burlap strap attached to it or hung with the picture hook or even layed on a table because it has raised feet on the bottom. Regardless of how you place the piece, whether on a wall, or on a table, it will not be flat because of the feet on the back. If u choose whichever mode of hanging or laying, if your not using the burlap, just cut it off, or tape it town - dealers choice. lol

Whoever buys this or gifts it, will know that this piece took much time to create and much thought went into it and it is a one-of-a-kind!
Blessings to all!😁
